DESPITE another poor result on Saturday we are still in the play-off race after another great fight back on Tuesday against Swindon.

We have always responded in the right way after a loss this season and the fact that we've not suffered back-to-back defeats in the league shows you the fighting spirit in the camp.

Of course we know we have probably followed up too many defeats with draws, but we are still only two points off the play-off places.

I know perhaps the fans had lost faith a bit, but hopefully now they can start believing again.

It was disappointing to see such a low attendance against Swindon, although with the results we've had lately at home it was probably to be expected.

Though it does nothing for your confidence when you are booed off, people pay good money to see us and are entitled to their opinion.

But credit to the ones that stuck with us, and once we got going in the second half they got right behind us.

Hopefully now we can take a big support to Millwall and if we get another result there, maybe we can encourage a few more back for our remaining home games as well. It was a day off for us yesterday, but while the gaffer and the rest of the staff were off to the Cheltenham races it was too close to the Millwall game for the players to go.

Finally Sean Thornton was giving it large after the Swindon game claiming we won because he was back in centre midfield.

All I can say is he'd best get those ginger locks touched up again with the blond dye, what with his head getting ever bigger!
