McManus played Professor Dumbeldore's barman brother Aberforth in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in 2007 and will be at the theatre in Billet Lane, Hornchurch, on Monday, March 31, at 8pm.
The 68-year-old actor, who has been appearing as Mr Paravicini in the West End's long-running play The Mousetrap, will be reading extracts from two of Dickens' greatest works - Oliver Twist and David Copperfield.
