SPURS boss Juande Ramos refused to criticise Robbie Keane after the striker through a tantrum at being substituted at Manchester City yesterday.
The former Inter Milan frontman, who had given his side the lead took exception at being replaced with the score at 1-1.
He was seen visibly storming off the pitch, before being seen throwing a coat to the ground in frustration.
And Keane would hardly have been pleased when Nedum Onuoha scored a winner for City, although Ramos choose not to lay into his stand-in skipper for his outburst.
He said: "I didn't see his reaction, but it's normal and players want to play all the time.
"They are disappointed when they are replaced and that's football. But we have a squad of players on the bench and we have to share out the minutes.
"We have players on the bench who need some minutes and others who need a rest because they have played a lot of minutes."
