CIGARETTES and lighters were stolen from the petrol station at Norton Heath after damaged estimated at £2,000 was caused.
A neighbour heard a loud bang at 10.45pm last Thursday (March 13) and when police arrived they found the garage, on the A414, had been smashed open. Four suspects drove off in a black Vauxhall vehicle towards Chelmsford. They were aged 20 to 25 and wearing hooded tops.
