SPURS have been warned they will have to break the bank if they want to pursue their interest in Villarreal keeper Diego Lopez.
According to media reports Tottenham's north London rivals Arsenal and fellow Premier League outfit Aston Villa are also believed to be in the hunt along with them for the 26-year-old stopper.
But the former Real Madrid gloveman wont be leaving the La Liga outfit cheaply with The Yellow Submarine placing a £18.85million pound fee on Lopez's head.
"Diego Lopez has a value in the market of 24million euros (£18.85m) and this sum is the only one that we would study for the player's possible sale," a club spokesman told skysports.com.
"We have not received a formal offer for the kid, but the presence of foreign scouts to watch our players is not rare."
If Spurs or any other Premier League club meets Villarreal's demands, it will mean a huge profit for the Estadio El Madrigal outfit, who only paid £4million to Real Madrid for Lopez last summer.
