MEDIA reports this morning have suggested that Spurs striker Robbie Keane could be hit with a £120,000 fine for his strop at Manchester City on Sunday.
The stand-in skipper stormed off the Eastlands pitch after being subbed by manager Juande Ramos, appearing to mouth: "What the ****'s that all about?" He was then seen throwing a jacket to the ground once he reached the dug-out.
While hardline boss Ramos initially played down the outburst, it appears he may now hit £60,000- a-week Keane with a fine of two weeks wages.
After the game Ramos said: "I don't worry about how players react. If players want to get angry about something, it's not something I'm going to worry about."
But apparently Ramos was thought to have been left embarrassed by Keane and is unwilling to tolerate such behaviour.
In fact the Spaniard is set to get tough with all his Tottenham troops, and anyone thinking they can challenge his authority is likely to be shown the exit door at White Hart Lane.
It has also been reported that the former Wolves forward Keane may be made to apologise to his team-mates, like Pascal Chimbonda was after a similar strop during the Carling Cup Final last month.
