MEDIA reports are suggesting that Spurs keeper Paul Robinson could earn an international reprieve with England.
The former Leeds stopper had lost both his starting role at White Hart Lane and failed to feature in Fabio Capello's first game in charge against Switzerland at Wembley last month.
But after regaining his place at club level from Radek Cerny, it now appears that England boss Capello could recall him to the international fold by naming him in his squad for next week's friendly against France in Paris.
Capello will be at White Hart Lane tomorrow to make a personal check on Robinson and several other players, when Juande Ramos's team take on Chelsea.
The England head coach, will be keen to see for himself if the Spurs stopper can regain the number one status he enjoyed under former managers Sven-Goran Eriksson and Steve McClaren.
It will be a huge boost to Robinson if he can re-establish himself as a serious challenger for David James's position, with Tottenham manager Ramos continually being linked with top keepers throughout Europe to replace him at White Hart Lane this summer.
