SPURS could be set to cash-in on Aaron Lennon with Manchester City reported to be lining up a bank-busting £16million bid for the England winger.
According to the People, City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is keen to make the 21-year-old part of his Eastlands revolution next season.
The figure being reported does seem somewhat excessive though for a player who was only signed from Leeds for £1million in 2005.
Lennon's form has been up and down this season, but Eriksson is believed to rate the pacy wideman's talents.
And if the pint-sized winger is seen as being surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane, manager Juande Ramos could use the funds any transfer fee would bring in to conduct his own rebuilding work at the north London club.
