DAMAGE put at £1,000 was caused when vandals broke into a charity farm project and covered the kitchen with blue paint and eggs.
Berkeley Farm, on Manor Road, in Lambourne End, provides services to adults with learning difficulties who come to work with the farm animals. The vandals forced their way inside and smashed windows but nothing of any value was stolen.
Charity worker George Alley said: "I think it's diabolical that they got in and caused all this mess but what can you do when you're not here? It's probably kids who are bored and haven't got anything better to do.
"We came in on Friday morning and they'd wrecked the place. It's happened before, but it's never been this bad."
Farm staff helped clean up the mess and restored it back to working order so no activities had to be cancelled.
The damage occurred between 7.30pm on Friday, March 14 and 9am on Saturday (March 15).
