DIMITAR Berbatov's agent has said his client would welcome talks with AC Millan should they make contact with Spurs.

The Bulgarian's representative Emil Dantchev claims that while there has been no contact from the Italian club, he would be prepared to discuss such an offer should one arise.

The Italian press including Corriere dello Sport have heavily linked Berbatov with a move to the San Siro, with a cash-plus-player offer on the table.

And according to the reports that would see Tottenham target Dario Simic move in the opposite direction to White Hart Lane.

The chance to play for Milan would be a dream come true for Berbatov, who grew up supporting them as a youngster - and his agent has refused to rule out such a move.

"Milan is one of the biggest clubs in Europe and if there was interest we would discuss it with Dimitar," Dantchev told setantasports.com.

"At the moment Dimitar is concentrating on doing his job with Tottenham. There is plenty of time until the transfer window.

"He is happy. But what I know from my 25 years in football is that if a player is happy somewhere, it does not mean he cannot be happy somewhere else."
