GUNNERS midfielder Tomas Rosicky has been left hugely frustrated he is missing out on being part of Arsenal's quest for honours this season.

The Czech Republic international has been sidelined since January with a knee injury and there appears to be no real sign of a return to action in the near future either.

In fact the 27-year-old former Borussia Dortmund winger even admits he can't even consider resuming full training yet.

"It is pretty irksome," Rosicky said on his official website.

"I still cannot start full training.

"There is nothing I can do but wait and hope that the injury goes away."

Rosicky also believes his Emirates Stadium team-mates will have their work cut out to progress in the Champions League, from their all-England quater-final with Liverpool.

"Of course it is a tough draw and we could have drawn a weaker opponent," he said.

"I think though that last year's elimination by PSV (Eindhoven) proved that there are no easy opponents.

"If we want to keep our sights set on the final then we cannot avoid any team.

"Also, this tie will be a special one for the fans."
