MEDIA reports have suggested Italian giants Juventus are prepared to make a summer swoop for Tottenham defender Younes Kaboul.
The Turin club, who returned to the top tier of English football this season following their relegation to Seria B in 2006 over match-fixing revelations are in the hunt to add new talent in time for a title push next year.
Manager Claudio Ranieri is looking to boost his squad at the Stadio Olimpico this summer, with French defender Kaboul just one of the names that is believed to interest the former Chelsea boss .
The 22-year-old has struggled to secure regular first team football at Tottenham since his move from Auxerre last year in a deal though to be worth in the region of £7million.
And with Juande Ramos' January signing of England centre half Jonathan Woodgate, Kaboul's situation is unlikely to improve at White Hart Lane next season.
That could pave the way for Ranieri to make a cut-price £5million swoop for a player, who has made just 21 appearances this season.
