ONGAR'S up and coming clash with Essex Three basement club Ravens is a chance for the Love Lane outfit to bring some consistency to their form.
Ongar's record over the last five games has seen them win three, but lose two, although will have felt aggrieved by some of the officiating decisions they have found themselves on the end of this term.
That has seen a few results slip from their grasp and left them rooted in mid-table, with their promotion ambitions dashed for another season. And with just five points the difference between them and second place May and Baker there is clear frustration for skipper Dave Blake.
He said: "A few games have gone against us this season through no fault of our own. Of course it is frustrating, but we still want to finish the season on a high."
And Blake will certainly be hoping his troops can repeat the 26-0 win they achieved over Ravens in January on Saturday.
