SEVEN years on and Terry Lubbock is still seeking answers over how his son died.
And to coincide with today's anniversary, Mr Lubbock - who is still hoping a second inquest will be held into his son's death - has written an open letter to entertainer Michael Barrymore saying it is only "a matter of time" before the truth comes out.
Stuart Lubbock, 33, died after returning to the Strike It Lucky star's then home in Beaumont Park Drive, in Roydon, after a night out at the Millennium nightclub in Harlow.
Stuart suffered serious internal injuries, but it remains unclear when they were sustained.
Speaking today - the anniversary of his son's death - Mr Lubbock, of Great Brays, in Harlow, said: "I am more and more determined (to find the truth).
"I went up his grave on Friday. I felt a bit negative. I'm so up for this fight. I do feel in some ways that Stuart is still here with me and I cannot let go of that feeling until I've got justice for him.
"That seven years has completely gone and I will never get those years back. It has been worth it I hope. It's my life now."
He added: I'm very, very optimistic that there will be a second inquest - I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.
