VANDALS ransacked the kitchen of a church after smashing a window to gain entry.
Rev Jason Askew, minister at the Epping Methodist Church in High Street, said it was the fourth time the building had been targeted recently.
He said: "There's not really much for them to take and, from what I gather, it was just vandalism.
"It's mindless really and there is no need for it at all."
The break-in happened between 1.45pm on Saturday (March 29) and 8am on Sunday.
Nothing was stolen but the intruders broke the locks on all the kitchen cupboards and searched them, causing £100-worth of damage.
