I READ with interest your article headed Former Farm Site set to be Millionaire's Row (Epping Forest Guardian, March 20 edition).
One was left with the impression that only new houses were being built on the site. In fact, the houses account for under nine acres of the 77-acre site, the balance the developer is legally contracted to refurbishing.
Once complete in 2010 there will be a wildflower meadow, a small wood, a stream with dipping pond, a reserve for the great crested newt, a field for the use of the Pony Riding Trust for Special Needs, four football pitches and an informal leisure area. It is to be hoped that by 2010 the public will again be able to enjoy Grange Farm facilities.
