JUNIOR FOOTBALL
PUPILS from George Tomlinson Primary School, Leytonstone entertained an 11,000 crowd by playing in two three-a-side mini-matches during half time at the recent Millwall versus Orient match.
The youngsters battled hard in the short duration games but the boys trio lost 1-0 and and girls were defeated 4-1.
The day out followed a programme of ten hours a week of sports sessions at George Tomlinson School from Leyton Orient Community Sports Programme (LOCSP) coaches.
Community development manager, Sab Bham, said: "To play in front of a large crowd in such a big stadium was amazing for them and to have more than 1,000 Orient fans clap them off when they had finished really made it special."
