JUNIOR FOOTBALL
CHINGFORD Foundation School have achieved a fantastic run-in to the end of the present football season with success in five Waltham Forest schools cup competitions.
All of the school's five soccer teams, from Year Seven to Year 11 have made it through to school cup finals.
And there is a sixth success with the Year Ten team beating Barking Abbey on penalties to reach the Essex Year Ten Cup final.
A seventh final could also be on the cards with the Year Seven squad through to the semi-finals of the London Schools Cup.
As for the teams' league performances four of the five squads are in with a good chance of winning championships.
The boys are not, however, having it all their own way with the girls' Year Eight and Nine and Seniors Year Ten and 11 through to netball finals.
