I WRITE with regard to the as yet unresolved issue of the underused and overpriced car park in Larkshall Road, Highams Park.
This has been grinding on for many months with subsequent discontent expre-ssed by local residents. Their feelings and opinions should not be ignored.
When a resolution is being considered, I would like to reiterate my comments regarding the step-free entrance between the car park and platform.
As my son is a wheelchair user, I rely on this access.
As such, I feel that he should have the same rights on and off the platform that everybody else enjoys I implore the council to consider our needs in their deliberations and find the obvious solution that will be acceptable to many people in the long term.
Heather Gear, Highams Park.
