SATURDAY really did sum up the second half of the season, because it was another really frustrating afternoon for us up at Port Vale.

Once Boydy put us in front we looked like we would coast it, as we were completely on top and that we would go on and beat them comfortably.

But as has been the case since Christmas we didn't fulfil our potential again and that is why we are not in the top six places when we know we are good enough.

Of course we are not going to just roll over and die, because it's still not mathematically impossible for us to make the top six at the moment so we will keep going although we are aware that it is unlikely to happen now.

Of course we wont need any motivation on Saturday. Not only do we want to end this losing run, it will be great to play Leeds in front of a full house.

Finally I'm grassing up young Jason Demetriou, just so people know what he is really like.

While he might look like Mr Innocent, he is certainly at the centre of a lot of mischief.

On the coach up to Port Vale he had attempted to pull a fast one on Grayzer Wayne Gray when he swapped their hands around at cards after he went up to get something to eat.

I'm sure he must have been watching that classic Only Fools and Horses recently, where Del and Boycie both switch their cards to have these brilliant hands.

Grayzer is a bit too sharp for that and sussed what was going on so had great pleasure at holding onto his chips.
