SPURS travel to Blackburn on Saturday and defender Alan Hutton admits it is a good job they have a chance to make up for last week's battering by Newcastle.

Despite the north Londoners taking the lead in the match, a series of key mistakes cost them dear as Kevin Keegan's men run out 4-1 winners.

Now, Hutton is eager to rectify it by doing the business on the pitch at Ewood Park.

"The first thing we want is another game coming up to bounce back," the 23-year-old told the club's official website.

"And we'll be out to prove to everybody that we're a good team who are capable of doing so."

The disappointing result took Spurs' goals-against record at White Hart Lane to 30 for the season - more than any other club in the Premier League.

But, while conceding that it is an area the team need to work hard at to address, Hutton (pictured) insists that the performance against Newcastle was somewhat of an anomaly.

"We've got some really good defenders in the side but things didn't go our way against Newcastle, which was hard to take," observed the Scotland international.

"But we have to keep working hard in training and try to defend well in order to stop conceding goals."
