SPURS boss Juande Ramos insists that his search for new talent encompasses much more than just Spain.
The former Sevilla coach (pictured) is expected to carry out a major overhaul of his squad at White Hart Lane and has been heavily linked with bringing in a number of stars from La Liga.
However, the Spaniard stressed that he is scouring the globe, and not just his homeland, for new players.
"I like good players from all countries, including Russians, Italians and Brazilians - I will not only concentrate on the Spanish league," he said.
He continued by stating that he is also keen to recruit players from closer to home and revealed his appreciation of English players.
"The English players give a lot of effort and they are big professionals," he said.
"When we came to London we had to change many things, like the way we trained and the way we played.
"We have a spectacular game in England. I believe at this moment that the Premier League is the best among all the leagues."
