A medal-winning paralympian will open a new Aldi in Chingford.
The shop, located at Cork Tree Retail Park, will introduce 40 new jobs to the area.
It’s opening day is on November 10 at 8am and bronze Paralympics fencing medallist Oliver Lam-Watson will be cutting the red ribbon for the ceremony.
The new store will offer fresh, British meat products with weekly offers, exclusive beers, wines and spirits, and a ‘food to go’ section at the front of the store.
Store manager Jolita Chomiciene is currently looking for five more store assistants for the Chingford branch.
The manager said: “We can’t wait to open the doors to the new store in Chingford. It’s set to be a special day and having Paralympic hero Oliver Lam-Watson join us will make it a morning to remember.”
Aldi will be open from 8am to 10pm Mondays to Saturdays and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
