A curry house that brings together flavours from three south Asian countries won a top regional prize.
Temple Fusion, in Woodford, stood out from hundreds of entrants at the Bangladesh Caterers Association annual awards night for its innovation, presentation of food, and outstanding customer service.
The restaurant, which has a selection of dishes from India, Bangladesh and Nepal, won the prize for best restaurant in Essex.
Industry expert and celebrity Greg Wallace and Tasmin Lucia-Khan were the hosts at the Park Plaza ceremony in central London.
Soydul Hussain, of Temple Fusion, said: “Our hard work and love for making curry has been recognised. Thank you, BCA for this Award.
“Thank you for recognizing our talented team, our chef and importantly the contribution we are making to the curry industry.
“Times have been tough; times are still tough, and this award makes a big difference.”
