Thick smoke was seen billowing from a block of flats as firefighters tackle a blaze.
The London Fire Brigade were called to a fire in two flats of a four-storey block in Gosport Road, Walthamstow, today (November 9).
Crews were called at 11.58 am and the fire was under control by 1.29pm.
Around ten people left the property before the brigade arrived.
Firefighters led two people to safety.

There were eight fire engines and 60 firefighters at the scene from Walthamstow, Leyton, Tottenham and surrounding stations.
Smoke was seen filling the air in Walthamstow.
One person warned on Twitter: “I live off Gosport Road. Smoke is everywhere, keep your windows and doors closed.”
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
