A teenager has been charged with the murder of a 17-year-old boy in Chingford.
Chima Osuji, was found in a critical condition in Longshaw Road, Chingford, shortly after 9.20pm on Easter Monday (April 10).
Depsite the efforts of members of the public and London’s Ambulance and Air Ambulance services, he died at the scene.
A boy aged 16, who can't be named for legal reasons, is due to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court today (April 15) charged with Chima's murder.
Chima's family are being supported by family liaison officers and are aware of this development, Scotland Yard said.
The 16-year-old was arrested on Wednesday, April 12, and appeared in custody at Barkingside Magistrates' court on Friday.
Another boy, aged 15, has been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in early July.
