Nearly 120 years separate this pictures of Loughton High Road
Some recognisable landmarks can be seen in the 1905 photograph including the Lopping Hall clock, The Standard Pub and the old Post Office.
The sign on the right is for the Crown Hotel which was demolished in 1965.
