A fire destroyed part of a garden and led multiple people to evacuate their properties this morning.
Five adults evacuated two properties in Courtland Avenue, Chingford today (August 1) after a fire destroyed a barbecue kitchen area in a house's rear garden.
Part of the ground floor extension and a portion of the outside roof of an adjacent property were also damaged.
Three gas cylinders were involved in the fire, London Fire Bridgade (LFB) said, which can explode when exposed to heat.

People evacuated before LFB arrived and there were no reports of injuries.
LFB took 12 calls to the fire, the cause of which is believed to be electrical.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters, including crews from Chingford, Woodford, Enfield and Leytonstone stations, attended.
A LFB spokesperson urged people to look at its online Home Fire Safety Checker.
The checker asks people a series of questions to work out the level of risk in a given home.
