Brown's Garage can be seen in on the left in the photo of Loughton looking towards Station Road from 1955.
Brown's Garage on the left, was a famous landmark from the 1950s up to 2012.
Now several retail businesses occupy the site. The distinctive cedar tree to the front still survives to this day.
