Police are investigating a blaze that destroyed the ground floor of a mid-terraced house.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were despatched to tackle the flames at the property in Melbourne Road, Walthamstow, on Monday (September 4).
Part of the first floor of the house was also damaged by fire, London Fire Brigade said.
The brigade's 999 control officers took 17 calls to the blaze just after 1.20pm.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Fire crews from Tottenham, Stoke Newington, Woodford and Hornsey fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire brigade and the Metropolitan Police.
