A man has been charged with murder after being extradited from another country.
Sabajet Shuti, 30 was charged this morning (October 21) with the murder of Zeqja Lumturi after being extradited from Sweden.
Police had been called at 10.59pm on October 16 in 2022 to reports of a fight on Church Lane in Leytonstone.
Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service and found two injured men, both in their 20s.
Despite the efforts of emergency services 27-year-old Zegja died at the scene.

Shuti has also been charged with causing grievous bodily harm - in relation to a second victim - as well as violent disorder and possession of a knife.
He appeared in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today and will next appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday (October 24).
