About 113 years separate these pictures of the Robin Hood pub near Chingford.
Built on the Epping New Road in c1865, the Robin Hood pub near Chingford once sat on a notorious crossroad black spot for road accidents.
As a result, a roundabout was constructed and the High Beach Road was moved further south in 1936. The old road can still be traced in the forest today.
