A woman has died after falling from a bridge over the North Circular Road.

The fall onto the A406 near to Charlie Brown’s roundabout in South Woodford was reported to police just after 5.30pm on Friday (December 8).

London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance also attended the incident.

Despite the best efforts of emergency services, a woman aged in her late 30s died at the scene.

A police spokesperson said that the woman’s next of kin has been informed and that enquiries into the circumstances continue.

A report will now be compiled for the Coroner.
