York Hill in Loughton is often called “Little Cornwall”, very little has changed over the years on this narrow country lane.
Its character is represented by high hedges leading up to York Hill Green, where there are dramatic views across some of Loughton’s oldest properties to the modern Canary Wharf and across the Thames to the Kent hills beyond.
