A man has been arrested in Leyton after engaging in a stand-off with police.
A significant police presence was seen in Murchison Road last night (March 11) after emergency services were alerted to a reported disturbance at a residential address.
Several territorial support group (TSG) Metropolitan Police vehicles were pictured having parked along High Road yesterday after reports came in at 5.20pm.
Police armed with shields, helmets and some with tasers were seen attempting to engage with a man at the scene through a window.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed that the man had barricaded himself in a room and had thrown several objects at police officers.
No injuries were reported.
The man was later arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm, threats to kill, and criminal damage.
He was transported to a hospital as a precaution by the emergency services.
