In 1906, the Royal Forest Hotel in North Chingford was described as, “being especially suited for Masonic meetings and banquets, Society and other public dinners, wedding breakfasts etc."
It was also licensed for music and dancing and seating for over 750 guests.
The hotel will soon reach a new chapter in its history by being refurbished into a high-quality restaurant and hotel for the 21st century.
