This picture of the Kings Head pub on Kings Green, Loughton is from around c1905.
The pub originally dates to around 1826 but was rebuilt in the early 1900s.
The area was once known as Cage Green because of the village lock-up being sited there.
The War Memorial was unveiled on June 24, 1920, by Lord Lambourne.
The pub is now an Italian restaurant.
