Police are still hunting for a man after a 12-year-old girl was sexually assaulted on a bus in Walthamstow.
The assault on September 26 last year took place after the victim got onto the 212 bus in Fulbourne Road at around 8.15am.
The suspect allegedly sat down next to the girl, asking sexual questions before stroking her leg.
Officers say they have carried out “extensive enquiries”, but are still searching for a man they wish to trace in connection with the alleged offence.
They described the man as wearing a leather jacket and a black baseball cap worn backwards.
He is a black man in his sixties, with a short black and grey beard.
Superintendent Charles Clare, from the local policing team in north east London, said: "Anyone who can help us find the man in the image should contact us immediately."
Anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to call 101 quoting reference CAD 2416/26SEP23
