Construction of Churchill Terrace can be seen on the right of this picture of Old Church Road, looking down towards Chingford Mount in the 1950s.
The terrace was built on the land formerly occupied by Cherrydown Farm that dated back to the early 1600s. An old telephone box can just be seen on the right.
