A man has been charged with murder after a father-of-two was stabbed to death in Leyton.
Police were called to reports of a stabbing in Lea Bridge Road shortly before 3pm on Saturday (July 6).
Despite the efforts of emergency services, 33-year-old Josh McKay died at the scene.
Renai Belle, of Edmonton, was charged with his murder and possession of a knife earlier today (July 10).
The 29-year-old is due to appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court later today.
A 38-year-old woman arrested on Sunday (July 7) on suspicion of assisting an offender is currently bailed pending further enquiries.
