A man from Leyton has been charged with terrorism offences after he was arrested as part of a counter-terrorism investigation.
Robert Adamski, 28, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court today (July 18).
On July 17, the 28-year-old was charged with:
- Two counts of possession of a component part of a firearm
- Two counts of dissemination of terrorist publications
- Possession of documents likely to be useful to a person committing, or preparing, an act of terrorism.
It comes after he was arrested on July 11 on suspicion of an offence contrary to the Terrorism Act 2000.
He was taken into police custody and detained under the act, with officers obtaining a warrant for his further detention until July 18.
A woman was also arrested on July 11 on suspicion of possession of a firearm.

She has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
Officers have confirmed they do not believe there is any threat to the public.
