A fire has destroyed a flat and hospitalised two people in a three-storey building.
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) was called at 3.58am today (July 21) to a blaze on Forest Road in Walthamstow, which had torn through a three-storey mixed-use building, after receiving six calls about the blaze.
A flat on the second floor was destroyed by fire and two people had evacuated before LFB crews arrived.

Four fire engines and 25 firefighters tackled the blaze and the evacuated pair were taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.
The fire was put under control by 5.23am after crews from Walthamstow, Leyton and Woodford fire stations attended.
"A 32-metre turntable ladder also attended and was used as an observation tower, providing the Incident Commander with a greater situational awareness of the incident," LFB added.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
