Records show that the Prince Albert pub at Chingford Mount seen here in c1906 dates back to at least 1859 as the only licensed premises in the area.
The pub was rebuilt with two floors around 1932, and then again in 1971, with a characterless design and the pub was reduced to a basement bar below new shops.
