Half of a second-storey flat in Walthamstow was destroyed in a fire and roads are on diversion.
Firefighters at the London Fire Brigade were alerted to a fire at a three-storey flat block in Blackhorse Road at 11.15am today (August 22).

Around 25 firefighters in four fire engines from stations across Homerton, Tottenham and Stoke Newington attended.
At the scene, half of a three-roomed flat on the second floor of the building was on fire and was subsequently destroyed.
No injuries have been reported.

The fire was brought under control by 12.02pm and the cause is under investigation.
Queueing traffic has been reported in Blackhorse Road from St James Street to the A503 Forest Road.
Temporary diversions have been put in place.
