Church House, next to St John’s Church in Church Lane, Loughton, seen here c1880, was originally built for the parish around 1850 as a Sunday school.
Some parts of the property contain material from the 16th century St Nicholas Church.
Now Grade II listed, Church House survives today as a residential home.
