Supermarket chain Lidl is hosting a special pop-up this weekend in London to mark the start of London Fashion Week.

‘Patisserie Lidl’ will welcome fashion and Lidl fans alike with the chance to buy the viral Lidl x Nikolas Bentel Croissant Handbag that sold out in just two minutes when it was first announced.

The exclusive item will only be available to buy at Patisserie Lidl with a pop-up paying homage to one of the nation’s favourite supermarket bakeries.

The Patisserie will be offering both sweet and savoury items along with a limited number of Croissant Handbags.

The pop-up will be held at 55A Dean Street, London, W1D 6AG and will be open for just two days on Friday, September 13 to Saturday, September 14 from 9am until 4pm.

Patisserie Lidl will meet high-end fashion boutiques with the sale of the luxurious, leather Croissant Handbag for £50.

The accessory was designed by Nik Bentel who was also behind the viral ‘Pasta Bag’.

The crescent-shaped leather ‘croissant purse’ comes complete with a golden zip and trolley coin, encased within a soft leather ‘bakery bag’ that fits in with the trendy roll-top clutch style and a traditional paper bag.

Customers can take advantage of the two-strap options for day and night wear.
