There are now more than 400km of cycle lanes in London – here are some of the newest routes.

Transport for London (TfL) has said that the cycling network in the capital has quadrupled since 2016.

This means that more than a quarter of Londoners now live within 400m of a cycle route, which TfL credits with reducing cyclist fatalities on the capital’s road by 40% compared to a 2010 to 2014 baseline.

Cycling rates continue to rise, having increased last year by 20% since 2019.

Here we have listed some of the new TfL cycleways that have been introduced across London.
