A man in his 40s has died after a medical incident in Walthamstow.
It happened in Coppermill Lane near Elmfield Road just before 6.15am today (Tuesday, October 8).
A paramedic in a fast response car and an ambulance crew from London Ambulance Service attended.
The man was pronounced dead shortly after.
Police have confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
The road was blocked this morning as the incident was dealt with.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 6.14am this morning (8 October 2024) to reports of a medical incident in Coppermill Lane, E17.
“We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews and a paramedic in a fast response car.
“Our crews treated a man at the scene.
"Sadly, despite the best efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene.”
