A man has been left with an injury to his head in Walthamstow.
Police were called to Farnan Avenue in east London on Tuesday (November 12) at 2.22pm to reports of an injured man.
At the scene, he was found with injuries to his head.
Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this, but at this early stage the force is treating it as grievous bodily harm.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 14:22hrs on Tuesday, 12 November to reports of an injured man at Farnan Avenue, E17.
"Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. At the scene a man was found with a head injury.
"Enquiries are underway to establish the circumstances of the injury, however, at this early stage we are treating it as grievous bodily harm.
"A scene was put in place.
"The man was taken to an east London hospital. We await an update on his condition.”
