It's official, out of all the pubs in London, one has finally been named the very best.

Time Out London has created a round-up of the 50 best pubs in London to highlight some of the "city’s less well-known and independent inns."

The list was created by picking pubs that offer a perfect pint, pickled eggs, karaoke night, dart sessions and more as Time Out added that they don't want to gatekeep any of London's best pubs.

With more than 3,000 pubs in London alone, it can be hard to pick the very best, but one lucky local took the title.

You can see the full list of the best pubs in London via Time Out.

The family-run pub that's been named the best in London

The winner of London's best pub was The Army & Navy in Newington Green which Time Out shared got the crown for its "dedication to being a proper London boozer."

Adding that it has many classic pub features like "the swirly carpets to the velvet booths, little hidden snug bar area, and absolutely massive beer garden."

Further describing The Army & Navy, Time Out shares: "It’s the kind of place where everyone can feel welcome – for local locals to the new wave of younger pintspeople – and for that we commend it."

Set in a Grade II listed building, the pub first opened in 1936 and is described by CAMRA as a "edge-shaped in plan, almost symmetrical, of two main storeys, attic and cellar."
